Our Artisan Story
Each barware glass is individually hand-painted, gilded, or etched in my Philadelphia studio using techniques like metallic leaf application, hand-applied brushwork, and surface etching for a finish that's truly one-of-a-kind. BrookeLynn's Home was founded to bring artful, meaningful pieces into your everyday life — every glass is a celebration of originality, craftsmanship, and the beauty of the moments worth pouring for.
Caramel Silver Stemless Wine Glass
Raised in Light: BrookeLynn's Home Golden Glow Glass Collection
Raised in Light was made for the evenings that call for wine and a raised glass — anniversary dinners, celebrations with close friends, and the ordinary Tuesday that turned out to be unexpectedly worth marking. Whenever the moment is the kind you want to hold onto a little longer, fill a Raised in Light glass, let the light catch it, and drink to exactly that.
One-of-a-kind by design. Each glass is hand-painted, gilded, or etched individually, so brushwork, metallic placement, and surface detailing will shift gently from piece to piece — never mass-produced, never identical.
Glass Descriptions
Raised in Light — 20.5oz Stemless Wine Glass
Raised in Light is a wide-bowled stemless wine glass with a generous, rounded interior that gives each pour room to open and breathe. Its curved, foot-forward base sits low and confident on any surface — modern in form, warm in feel, and shaped to make every glass feel like the beginning of something worth celebrating.
Care & Maintenance
Artistry in Pouring Barware: Care & Maintenance
Our handcrafted barware glasses are finished with hand-painted, gilded, or etched detailing on the exterior, with a protective seal applied over all decorative surfaces. The interior is uncoated glass and fully safe for use with beverages. To preserve the artisan finish and ensure lasting beauty:
- Routine Cleaning (Exterior): Dust gently with a soft, dry microfiber cloth regularly to prevent buildup and keep decorative finishes looking their best on the sealed exterior.
- Deeper Cleaning (Exterior): If needed, lightly dampen the cloth with water and gently wipe the exterior surface. Avoid excessive moisture — never soak, submerge, or run the exterior under water, as this can loosen metallic leaf, painted detail, or etched finish beneath the seal.
- Avoid Chemicals: Do not use glass cleaners, alcohol, ammonia, or harsh chemicals on the exterior, as these may dull the protective finish or damage the artwork beneath.
- No Abrasives: Avoid scouring pads, rough sponges, or abrasive materials that could scratch or wear down the decorated exterior surface.
- Not Dishwasher Safe: These glasses are handcrafted and should never be placed in a dishwasher. The heat, pressure, and detergents used in dishwashers will damage the decorative finish and compromise the integrity of the glass.
- Temperature Caution: Avoid sudden temperature changes — do not pour boiling liquids directly into a cold glass or place glasses in the freezer. Extreme thermal shifts can cause glass to crack and may affect the exterior finish.
- Sunlight Protection: Display and store away from direct sunlight for extended periods. Prolonged UV exposure can cause painted and gilded accents to fade, even beneath a protective seal.
- Safe Placement & Storage: Store glasses upright and never stacked inside one another, as stacking can chip the rim or scratch the exterior finish. Handle with care and keep away from edges or high-traffic areas where they may be knocked over.
- Interior Use: The interior is uncoated glass and fully safe for all cold and room-temperature beverages. Rinse with warm water and a small amount of mild dish soap after each use, then dry thoroughly with a soft cloth. Avoid abrasive brushes or scrubbers inside the glass to prevent scratching.
- After Each Use: Empty and hand-dry thoroughly after use to prevent water spots, mineral buildup, or moisture sitting against the base of the glass.
FAQ
Q: Are the glasses safe to drink from?
A: Yes — the interior of every Artistry in Pouring glass is uncoated glass and fully safe for beverages. All hand-painted, gilded, and etched detailing is applied to the exterior only and sealed for durability.
Q: Are your glasses dishwasher safe?
A: No — hand-finished surfaces should never go in the dishwasher. The heat, pressure, and detergents will damage the decorative exterior finish and can compromise the glass itself over time.
Q: How do I clean the outside of a decorated glass?
A: Use a soft, dry microfiber cloth for routine care, or a lightly dampened cloth if needed. Avoid harsh cleaners, glass sprays, or anything with alcohol or ammonia — especially on gilded or painted details.
Q: How do I clean the inside of the glass without damaging the outside finish?
A: Rinse the interior carefully with warm water and a small amount of mild dish soap, keeping the exterior as dry as possible. Dry the outside immediately if any water splashes, and always hand-dry rather than air-dry to prevent water spots.
Q: Will the gold, silver, or copper leaf on the exterior tarnish?
A: Metallic leaf can shift subtly over time depending on humidity and handling. I seal every piece for durability, and gentle care — dry hands, soft cloth cleaning, and keeping the glass away from prolonged moisture — will help preserve the finish beautifully.
Q: Can I use these glasses for hot beverages?
A: I recommend keeping these glasses for cold and room-temperature beverages only. Extreme heat can cause thermal stress in the glass and may affect the integrity of the decorative exterior finish over time.
Q: Can I put the glasses in the freezer?
A: No — sudden temperature extremes can cause the glass to crack and may damage the exterior finish. Keep your glasses at room temperature and avoid any rapid shifts between hot and cold.
Q: Will the exterior finish hold up if the glass gets condensation on it?
A: The exterior is sealed for protection, but I recommend wiping condensation from the outside surface with a soft cloth during use rather than letting moisture sit against the finish for extended periods.
Q: Can I stack the glasses for storage?
A: I recommend storing glasses upright and never stacked inside one another. Stacking places direct pressure on the rim and exterior finish, which can lead to chipping, scratching, or wear on the decorative detailing over time.
Q: Will the painted or gilded finish chip or peel with regular use?
A: With proper care — hand washing only, soft cloth cleaning, and avoiding abrasive materials — the sealed exterior finish is designed to hold up beautifully. Rough handling, harsh chemicals, or dishwasher use are the most common causes of finish wear.
Q: Can I remove mineral buildup or water spots from the interior?
A: For light buildup, warm water with a small amount of mild dish soap and a soft bottle brush should do the job. Avoid strong acids like vinegar or commercial descalers, as even internal use of harsh cleaners near the rim can risk contact with the exterior finish.
Q: Can I place the glasses on delicate surfaces like wood or marble?
A: Yes — just use a coaster or soft pad underneath if you are concerned about surface protection, especially during use when condensation may form at the base of the glass.

Raised in Light: Golden Glow Glass Collection
The Raised in Light: Golden Glow Glass Collection was inspired by the light in a room just before a toast is made — that warm, suspended moment when everyone's glass is full and the evening is about to become the kind you remember. It came from thinking about the objects we reach for when we want to mark something: the dishes we save for company, the candles we light for no reason except that tonight feels like it deserves them. The Raised in Light: Golden Glow Glass Collection is our answer to that impulse — a glass that says, without requiring an announcement, that whatever is happening right now is worth celebrating.
